Each term, we provide a range of clubs which take place before or after school. Parents are provided with a list of clubs available at the beginning of each term and apply for the ones they are interested in joining. Different clubs run each term, but recently we have been able to offer:
Football, Squash, Art and Craft, Multiskills, Netball, Robotics and Dance
Some clubs will have a limited number of spaces (first come first served) so please be aware of the capacity. If the club is full you will be placed on a waiting list (this will give you priority if the club is run the next term).
You are able to book clubs for your child to attend through Arbor's Parent App.
Outside agencies clubs come at a cost where you will be expected to pay the agency directly. Some additional communications will be sent out with more detail for certain clubs.
A register is taken at the start of every club so we do expect weekly attendance unless of course your child is absent from school. Therefore, we remind you that if you child cannot attend a club for any reason, you must let the office know. Also, during the term, if your child no longer wishes to attend the club you must please notify us so that we can offer another child a place. The children will be picked up from the main entrance or main gate.
We work with Essex Music Services to provide instrument lessons. Please ask the school for more details.
We have worked with Rock Steady for a number of years. Children have the opportunity to join a band as a singer or instrumentalist. Rehearsals take place every Friday morning and culminate in a concert at the end of term. A fantastic introduction to playing and performing.
